Yes, we are insured and bonded and carry a certificate of insurance that can be reviewed upon request.
How long has Carnival Custom Painting been painting residential homes in the Dallas – Fort Worth Area?
Our founder, Steve Long began Carnival Custom Painting in 1989 in Plano, Texas. Since then the company has grown to eleven locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma and painted more than 20,000 residential and commercial properties.

Will you provide a FREE estimate?
After the initial consultation with you regarding your painting needs and after thoroughly reviewing your project details, we will provide a FREE detailed, written proposal to you directly.
Do I need to pay a deposit or down payment before work begins?
Carnival Custom Painting in Flower Mound does not require a deposit unless the total project amount exceeds $12,000. We do not expect payment in full until a final walk-through is complete. We would strongly recommend that you be wary of any painting contractor who requires a substantial down payment, and would never pay any contractor more than 30% of the total price up front.
How many painters do you have to complete my project?
Carnival Custom Painting utilizes carefully selected professional subcontractors with extensive experience and many years in residential and commercial painting.
What kind of paint do you use?
We only use quality products from major suppliers like Sherwin-William’s, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Benjamin Moore and Pittsburgh Paints. This includes quality interior and exterior paints and primers, durable long-lasting caulk and hand selected lumber. Paint and material should always be specified on the proposal to ensure you receive the quality products you expect. Steer clear of contractors that water down the paint or put low-quality paint into a premium paint container.
What do I need to do before you can begin the project?
Our crews will follow very specific procedures to properly prepare and protect your home before painting. Before we arrive, you will need to have selected your paint color as well as these additional responsibilities . . .   Interior - Storing any knickknacks, china and breakables in a safe location, removing anything hanging from the wall, disconnecting computers or media and electrical devices as well as making arrangements for pets. Exterior – Securing pets, unlocking gates, trim limbs and shrubs and close windows. Please refer to and print out our complete pre-painting checklist to prepare for our team's visit.
What methods of payment will you accept?
Our company prefers cash or check. We do also accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express.
Does your company use “Green” or environment-friendly paints?
There are a variety of low-odor and low-VOC paints currently available on the market today. However, we prefer the Sherwin-William’s products with the GreenSure designation including Harmony Interior Latex, ProGreen 200, and Duration Home Interior. Remember to ask about these products when receiving your FREE proposal.
